Day 1: Kochi Arrival
Picked up from the Cochin International Airport and transferred to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax in the hotel room later followed by sightseeing. Firstly, you will visit the Mattancherry Palace of Kochi which is an ancient building and a very important highlight of the place. Also, visit the Jewish synagogue. After that, you can jaunt around the local markets and buy unique things. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Kochi - Munnar
Upon arrival at Munnar, you will check in to the hotel and have a rest. You can stay in your room or explore with your partner, it is your decision because this day in Munnar is leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing
After having breakfast, the first stop on your tour will be the Eravikulam National Park. Here, you will have the opportunity to see the Nilgiri Tahr, an endangered species of mountain goat. You will ride a park bus and take in the beautiful scenery around you. Next, you will visit the Tata Tea Museum where you will learn about the various processes involved in tea production. You will also get to taste a cup of their refreshing tea as a sample. The rest of the day's tour will include visits to the Rose Garden, Photo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Elephant Arrival Point and Echo Point. Finally, you will return to the hotel and enjoy a relaxing sleep.
Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast, transfer to Munnar by road. On the way, you will be stunned by the astonishing scenery that you will get to observe. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and relax in your room for a while. After resting up, you will be thrilled by the jeep safari in Periyar National Park. You will be amazed by the beautiful wildlife and nature you get to witness in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The Thekkady forests also surround a lake called Periyar Lake, which you will visit next and enjoy some boating on.
Lastly, you will be dropped off at the hotel and you will have a restful sleep. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Thekkady - Alleppey
After breakfast check out from the hotel, and move towards Alleppey. When you arrive in Alleppey, check in the houseboat and rest in your room for a bit. Then have some lunch and start your sail across the beautiful backwaters of Alleppey with a series of lakes and ponds. Overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 6: Alleppey - Kovalam
Have some filling and toothsome breakfast and check out. Then, head your way to Kovalam which is known to be the town of castles and beaches. After arriving, check in to the hotel and get fresh to spend the leisure day in Kovalam joyfully. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Kovalam Sightseeing
Begin your day breakfast then go out for a tour of the city. Visit the lighthouse beach to spend your day in the bright sun. You can also go to Hawah Beach and Samudra Beach with your mate and watch the sunset together. Day 8: Kovalam - Thiruvananthapuram - Departure
Post breakfast, carry out all the check-out procedures. Then drop at Thiruvananthapuram, where you catch your flight back home.
