Day 1: Arrival At Cochin
The tour begins with your arrival at the Cochin Airport where you will meet one of our representatives. Check-in at your pre-booked hotel accommodation upon arrival and freshen up. Get ready for a sightseeing tour of Cochin. This multi-ethnic port city in the city of Kerala has several historical sites and other impressive sights to offer. Visit the Mattancherry Palace, Dutch Cemetery, Jewish Synagogue, Bolghatty Palace, Fort Cochin, and the unique Chinese Fishing Nets among others, Enjoy the Kathakali dance cultural performances in the evening. Also, enjoy boating at Marine Drive.
Day 2: Cochin To Munnar
Begin the day with breakfast in the morning and leave for a drive to Munnar. Enjoy the natural scenic beauty and waterfalls on the way. Beautiful roads, mystic views will be accompanying you all the way. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival, relax and rest for the rest of the day. You have the entire evening at your disposal to go around exploring the local monuments and cuisines.
Day 3: Munnar
Enjoy the delicacy that is the south Indian breakfast first thing in the morning and then head out for sightseeing. Visit the Tea Museum to learn how the drink is brewed followed by a visit to Echo point, Kundala Lake and Mattupetty Dam. Enjoy the afternoon safari at Eravikulam National Park. This sanctuary is known for the Neelakurinji flowers that bloom once every 12 years.
Day 4: Munnar To Thekkady
Wake up to an early breakfast to begin your journey further to Thekkady by road. Thekkady is a truly nature blessed town. Check-in at the jungle lodge or the hotel upon arrival. Enjoy a boat ride at the Periyar Lake which border the Periyar National Park. Spot the wildlife and the enriched flora and fauna of the national park during the ride.
Day 5: Thekkady To Allepey
Start the day with the enriching local cuisine breakfast and check-in at the hotel upon arrival at Alleppey. Enjoy the day at the scenic backwaters of Alleppey via a luxurious houseboat cruising through the picturesque paddy fields and narrow canals laden with tall palm tree. Immerse yourself in the beautiful ecology, spot the rare birds. Spend the night stargazing on the deck and enjoy your overnight stay at the boat.
Day 6: Alleppey To Kovalam
Check out from the houseboat after an appetizing breakfast. Arrive at land and travel to Kovalam via road. Spend the entire day that is at your disposal sunbathing and taking perfectly scenic walks at the beaches of Kovalam. Indulge yourself in the local sea food and pampering Ayurvedic sessions.
Day 7: Kovlam
Proceed for local sightseeing tour of Trivandrum after a scrumptious breakfast. Visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the abode of Lord Vishnu. Enjoy the free afternoon for shopping and exploring the local markets including the seashell created items and the local handicrafts. Also, visit the Napier Museum.
Day 8: Kovalam To Trivandrum
Enjoy the local dishes of Kerala for breakfast and head to Trivandrum airport or railway station from where you can connect onwards to your next travel destination or to home.
