A three day Sufi festival by the Foundation of SAARC Writers and Literature (FOSWAL) is being organized at Diggi Palace from 14 to 16 October, 2016. The festival would be a melange of Sufi dance and music performances, poetry, book readings, book launches and interactive sessions. The the festival will witness a wide participation of over 50 SAARC Sufi scholars, 40 poets, 80 Sufi musicians, singers and dancers and performers from as many as 7 SAARC countries, including , Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Jaipur Sufi festival is an annual South Asian Jaipur Sufi Festival that has been created as a unique platform for Scholars, Writers, Artist and Diplomats from across the South Asian Jaipur Sufi Festival countries to come together and explore the ethos of Sufism through intellectual deliberation and artistic expression. The festival thrives to bind our region culturally, bind us to our oriental deep understanding of life and beyond, love and compassion, reconciliation and understanding and respecting the otherness of others and Sufism in one the greatest binding forces.
