India’s first and largest children’s literature festival Bookaroo arrives at the Pink City this weekend. As Bookaroo returns from Kuching, Malaysia, straight into Jaipur for its first edition in the city, a wonderful venue awaits India’s best-loved children’s literature festival. From April 30 to May 1, 2016, the Jawahar Kala Kendra will play host to a thrilling array of storytelling, book reading, crafts, Dream Jars and much, much more.
This will be Jaipur’s first tryst with this much loved festival where children will be spoilt for choice amidst a treasure trove of books and literature. Bookaroo would be a melange of interesting sessions for children including story telling, Book reading, Craft sessions, Food Court and Picture Book and Art Exhibition.
Speakers at the event include author Deepak Dalal, Former Minister Of Forests And Environment in Rajasthan Bina Kak, Ajay Dasgupta, Arefa Tehsin, Priya Kurian, Rituparna Ghosh and Wendy Cooling among many others. With Bookaroo making its home in the center for two days, the children of Jaipur are in for a treat!
