Every year in November, the town of Bundi comes alive with a wonderful cultural festival a cultural event complete with traditional music, folk dance, kabaddi, horse riding, and camel races, fireworks and a mustache as well as turban-tying competitions that bring the streets alive and draws locals from surrounding villages.
City Bundi tucked away in a gorge, it has remained relatively isolated and independent, and the nearby Chambal River even offers opportunities for water adventures.
The time of the festival has everything from offbeat celebrations to a rich heritage. Palaces are nothing short of aww even Rudyard Kipling once said ‘The Taragarh Fort must have been built by angels, not by human beings’.
