The sixth Great Indian Travel Bazaar GITB, an international tourism mart, will be organized from April 14-16, 2013 at BM Birla Convention Centre, Jaipur.
Great Indian Travel Bazaar is one of the biggest India’s leading exhibitions for the travel & tourism industry. It provides an annual opportunity for organizations from India & abroad to showcase their products & services to a large cross section of the travel trade and consumers across major markets in India.
GITB began in 2008 with 160 buyers from 35 countries with over 2,000 pre-fixed meetings. By 2011, the mart had grown to 230 buyers (FTOs) from 55 countries with over 7,000 pre-fixed B2B meetings. Compared to previous year, about six to eight more countries would be participating this time. This would in a big way open newer avenues for the properties in Rajasthan.

The mart this year would host about 270 companies and the figure on pre-fixed B2B (business to business) meetings is accepted to reach beyond 9,000 that were conducted previous year, as per official sources. Compared to previous year, about six to eight more countries would be participating this time.
The Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), are co-organizing the sixth Great Indian Travel Bazaar ’13
