The Jal Jhulani Gyaras is cheerfully celebrated every year at various temples managed by Eklingji Trust. A royal procession is carried out from City Palace in a silver palanquin along with horses and a brass band. The procession from City Palace is destined to Rameshwar Ghat, where the idol of Krishna is bathed and worshiped. Devotees offer their greetings and prayers to the Lord Krishna by offering Prasad and bowing before the idol. The silver palanquins carrying the idol of Lord Krishna are the most striking feature of the procession.

The ‘Jal Jhulani Gyaras’ will be celebrated today. The celebration begin at the Vishnu Temple at the City Palace, Udaipur followed by a ‘Ramrewari’ procession in the evening. A procession on ‘Jal Jhulani’ is also organised from Shree Eklingji Temple to Indrasarovar in which the silver idol of Ganeshji is seated in the silver Ramrewari and carried for worshiping on the promenade of Indrsarovar alongwith Jageshwarji Mahadeoji. After the Jal Poojan (water bath) and Shaligram Poojan, the procession will return to temple premises for Aarti. Thereafter symbolic blessings are made by the priest of court in terms of mantra chanting and prasad. This ceremony is called Ashika and marks the end of Jal Jhulani Ekadashi
