Tourists will soon enjoy jungle safari in the buffer zone of the Sariska Tiger Reserve. In order to promote ecotourism around Sariska, the reserve authorities will start guided tours of the reserve’s buffer zone. The focus will not be on tiger sighting, but introducing tourists to the richness of the Sariska forest. The authorities are all set to launch the jungle safari from July 01, 2016.
The reserve authorities have registered 20 petrol vehicles and are training nearly 30 nature guides at present. The tourists will be taken on the tour of Silisedh, Balakila and Dadikar forest area in the Sariska’s buffer zone. Authorities believe that tourists want to explore the wildlife outside the core area of the reserve, but most of them become disappointed to find no means of transport to explore the buffer zone. Booking windows will open at three separate places including Silsedh, Pratapbandh and Bhakheda. Tourist vehicles will be available from these windows. Tourists will be able to explore wildlife from sunrise to sunset.
