Popularly known as the Cattle fair of Nagaur, the Nagaur Fair alone trades approximately 70,000 bullocks, camels and horses every year. The animals lavishly decorated and even their owners dress up wearing colorful turbans and long mustaches adds to the magical enchantment of this fair.
Apart from the business of cattle trading, there are a number of other attractions at the fair of which the biggest Mirchi (red chili) Bazaar (market) of India is a sight o behold, but we advice a caution if you are heat and dust allergic. Other items traded at the fair include wooden items, iron-crafts, camel leather accessories, etc.
The sports and cultural activities to entertain the visitors and traders at Nagaur Fair have their own charm every year.
