Soon after the tourism department started night tourism at 'Vidyadhar Ka Bagh', the state government also announced night tourism at Chaura Rasta and Hawa Mahal. As part of the ‘Jaipur Night Tourism’ project, Rajasthan government will also illuminate ‘Chaura Rasta’ and ‘Hawa Mahal’ by October 2017. In the second phase, the focus will be on Tripolia bazaar, Chhoti Chaupad & Johari Bazaar. The government has set targets for this project for 15th August, 2018. Attempts will be made to clean the bazaar. Additionally the authorities will keep stray animals at bay so that tourists can freely explore the city area on foot. The state capital, Jaipur has become the first city in Rajasthan to take on the initiative of Night Tourism, setting examples for the rest.
The 'Parkota' walls of the Old City will be embellished with artwork. Lights and decorations will enhances its aesthetic appeal and attract more tourists to the old part of the city. A clear focus is emphasized on the cleanliness and hygiene conditions of the surroundings. Attempts will be made to clean the bazaar. The Pink buildings in the Walled City will also be decked up with beautiful lights, highlighting the marvelous beauty of heritage structures more prominently.
