An exhibition of various types of art forms, Purvottar Rang Mahotsav is now happening in Jaipur. The city will be introduced to the world of dance, drama and music and the exhibition will showcase performances by eminent artists, directors, musicians and playwrights of international repute. Purvottar Rang Mahotsav brings together more than 150 artists from across the North East who will combine their cultures and traditions to put on a spectacular show for the audiences.
National Academy of Music, Dance and Drama and Natyakulam Jaipur are holding the festival to introduce people of the Pink city to the art and culture of the North East region in which art forms from states of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh would be presented at Jawahar Kala Kendra.
Raasa & Pugcholam of Manipur, Bihu of Assam, Satriya, Ojhapali & Devdhani Dance forms, Ajhilamu from Arunachal Pradesh, Bodo from Nagaland, Chellam and Bembu from Mizoram will be showcased at the exhibition.
