Rajasthan tourism will soon offer air taxi service for major destinations in the state. Rajasthan Tourism will start the air taxi service from the New Year to destinations like Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur etc.
Several companies are interested in offering air taxi service in Rajasthan. Authorities have cleared 16 parking bays at the runway near an terminal of Sanganer Airport in Jaipur. Air taxi service will feature helicopters with capacity of 5 passengers and fixed wing crafts with capacity of 12 to 30 passengers at a time. This service will be offered between Jaipur and other tourist destinations in Rajasthan.
This service will not only cut down the time it takes to reach major destinations in Rajasthan but will also save tourists from terrible roads of the state. In past several tourists have made complains about the conditions of roads in Rajasthan. With air taxi service, Rajasthan will save the tourists from such nightmares.
