In order to attract more tourists, Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) has planned to avail hotel rooms at cheaper rates, particularly during summer vacation. According to official sources, the RTDC has slashed rates of hotels and motels rooms until March 31, 2012.
In order to promote tourism industry during off seasons, the lodging facility at various RTDC hotels will be made available at discounted rates. This includes 15 classic hotels, 22 comfort hotels and 10 motels, including midways owned by the RTDC.
Further, in order to maintain clarity, user friendly guide books are been distributed mentioning the revised rates. For the first times pamphlets and tourists manuals have exact prices of each room under various categories, instead of mentioning rate of discount percentages. The discounted rates have also been updated on the RTDC website.
A Super AC room at Gangaur Hotel will now be available at Rs 1,900 instead of Rs 2,100. The RTDC has also reduced the prices of family rooms at motels and midways to Rs 990.
