Relish the colors of Rajasthan in this most unique and time-honored festival.
The traditional Teej procession with all its regal pomp and pageantry, started yesterday i.e 26 July, 2017 from the City Palace, Jaipur. Winding its way through the Tripolia Bazar, Chhoti Chaupar & Gangauri Bazaar the procession winded up at the Chaugan Stadium. The procession was be led by an elephant, followed by a mélange of cultural performances likes Kachhi Ghodi, Gair, Kalibaliya and Chakri dances along with a brass band. The procession included: a cannon carriage, bullock carts, a horse carriage, followed by the Goddess in a silver palanquin. Arrangements for the tourists to witness the procession were made at the terrace of the Hind Hotel. The procession will also be carried out today at the same venue at the same time, i.e 27 July, 2017 5:30 pm on-wards.
Please note - If you wish to witness the procession from the roof top, sitting arrangements for the same begin at 4:30 pm.
