The Pushkar Fair is about to kick off on 31st October this year and it will run until the 6th of November. It is basically a five day festival that is also known by the name, Camel fair. There are an ample of jocund games being played in the festival including the likes of “Longest Moustache”, “Bridal competition” and “Matka Phod”.
The fair is long awaited each year and celebrated with enthusiasm. It takes place near the Pushkar Lake where a group of travelers and locals gather in order to witness the proceedings of the fair. After people have gathered, the camel race starts. In the background of the race, there is a serene music being played that adds icing to the cake.
The fair carries a great legacy and you should not miss a chance to witness the whole extravaganza with naked eyes.
