Shops to sell gift items representing the culture and heritage of the city from International Tourism Day. Domestic and international tourists will now be able to make their Jaipur visit memorable. The Rajasthan tourism department has decided to open souvenir shops at all the museums where tourists will be able to find gift items that represent the culture and heritage of the city which include puppets, T-shirts and coins and the like. The shops will be operational from the International Tourism Day on September 27, 2017. Museums which have enough space will have these gift shops indoors, while mobile carts will be used to sell souvenir where there is a lack of space.
