Now the visitors to Amber Fort will also have a resplendent sight of the beautiful illusion in the water along with several water bodies in Maotha!
The tourism, art and culture minister, Bina Kak inaugurated the project of refilling the maotha near Amber and launched the project of refilling the water bodies in and around Amer. The inaugural programme took place near the Kesar Kyaari on Monday.
The project is not only for the beautification of Amber but it has several other benefits. It will not only take the water level up but will also recharge the water bodies nearby.
The minister said that there had been plenty of rains during the monsoon season this year. Furthermore, when the chief minister, Ashok Gehlot had visited Amer some months ago, there had been a demand for the filling up of maotha- which was being initiated on Monday, added the beaming minister. Along with Amber block Congress committee president, Brij Mohan Khatri, the common people gave their gratitude for the approval of maotha refilling project and raised the demand for the refilling of ‘Sagar’ as well.
The project pertaining to bringing the water to maotha will be completed in one-and-a-half months. Moreover, creating the enclosures by fencing the other side of Ghat ki Guni and the repair of the road leading to Nahargarh Fort is also promised during the inauguration.
These steps for the beautification of Jaipur would definitely enthrall the tourists and local visitors this season.
This area would be filled with ample of water for a statuesque sight to behold.
