Women in Rajasthan can enjoy a free ride in State-run buses on the occasion of Rakhi “Raksha Bandhan” on August 20, 2013.
The State Government has announced free travel for women passengers in all buses of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC). Officials have issued the orders regarding the same and have started advance booking for it.
According to the spokesperson of Rajasthan Roadways, females will be benefited with this service in all categories of buses operated interstate. They can prevail free service from 19th august at 12 a.m midnight till 2oth August at 12 a.m midnight.
Also, orders regarding free travel in low-floor bus services in Jaipur will be issued by Jaipur City Transport Services Ltd.
