Day 1: Arrival At Cochin
The Kerala houseboat tour starts with your arrival at Cochin airport. Meet our representative who will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and leave for sightseeing in Cochin. Cochin is a major port city in Kerala. Sightseeing includes visiting Jewish Synagogue, two famous churches including Santa Cruz Catholic Basilica and St. Francis Church, Ernakulam Shiva Temple, and Mattancherry Palace. Also, visit the Chinese fishing nets and the local markets for shopping at sunset.
Day 2: Cochin To Alleppey
Start your day with an appetizing authentic south Indian breakfast. Check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. The houseboat starts at 12 noon from Pallathuruthy. The houseboat travels through the natural emerald beauty of Kerala including Pannamada Kayal, SNDP Thodu and many more. Visit a nearby village in the late afternoon. The houseboat is anchored at Mangalam for the night.
Day 3: Houseboat
The houseboat cruise restarts at 10 AM post breakfast. The houseboat moves towards Nedumandy for the day. Stop at Mathikayal, Chundan Vallam, Veliyandu village walk, Kavalam and Lissio Church for a visit. Have the opportunity to go country boat canoeing at Kainakary after lunch for an hour. Enjoy cruising through the paddy fields and the narrow canals laden with tall and fringed palm trees. Indulge yourself in the breathtaking views of the backwaters. The boat is anchored at Nedumudy for the night.
Day 4: Houseboat
Wake up to the bird calls in the morning. Houseboat restarts at 10 AM post-breakfast as per the schedule. Today, your tour through Mancompu to Thakazhi. Deboard at Pullincunnu to visit the Banana Plantation. Explore the Pullincunnu Church, St. Mary's Church and Kottaram temple. Also, pay a visit to the local market at Champakulam along with Pullangadi and Pindithodu vegetation plantation. The houseboat is anchored at Thakazhi for the night.
Day 5: Houseboat To Cochin
The last day of the tour starts early post breakfast at 7.30 AM. The houseboat moves to Pallathuruthy through Kanjipadam to reach the jetty dock. Meet the driver to reach Cochin where you will be dropped at the airport or railway station for your journey onwards.
