Keeping a second night here makes a considerable difference: the town can be appreciated as a pilgrimage centre rather than a quick excursion squeezed between two road journeys. Day 4 Pushkar to Udaipur via Ajmer Sharif and Chittorgarh

Depart Pushkar and make the short journey to Ajmer, where the principal religious visit is Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Travel towards Jodhpur, leaving the greener Aravalli surroundings and gradually entering the drier landscape associated with Marwar. Depending on the onward departure time, there may be an opportunity for a brief orientation in Jodhpur, but no major sightseeing is promised where flight or train schedules make this impractical.

Transfer to Jodhpur Airport, railway station or the confirmed onward point.
