Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II statue at the Ram Niwas Bagh, the former ruler of Jaipur (1922-1948).
It was a balmy, breezy morning today when at 7.30 am some gathered at the location of the statue of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II in Ram Niwas Bagh to pay floral tributes to the late Maharaja. The occasion was the 105th Birth Anniversary of the late Maharaja who played a pivotal role in setting up the modern city of Jaipur. The event was organised by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum Trust. It has also adopted the roundabout for the upkeep.
