To ensure that no tourist is deprived of visiting the Amer fort due to a national holiday, the department of archaeology has agreed to keep the fort open for viewing on the day of Holi, i.e 13 March, 2017. The Amber Fort & the Observatory will remain open for tourists and visitors post lunch.
The timings for the same are as follows:
Elephant ride will also be available for tourists and visitors at the Amber fort on that day.
