The Pink City is already geared up for this intoxicating evening of December17,2011, where the Sufi music by Runa Rizvi would create magic amidst the aromatic ambiance of The Forresta- Kitchen & Bar in association with Pathfynder,host of many magical and memorable evenings, again presents you the most celebrated Sufi Vocalist in Town- Runa Rizvi with “Daastaan-e-Sufi”.
Conceived like a trip through the most divine souls, this unique Sufi evening will be the opportunity to travel from the deep and rich Sufi songs, from crazy melodies to more classical ones, the heritage of yesteryear, contemporary inspiration and sensitivity of the singer- the sound that touches every soul.
Sufi incantations and chants are made to bring about a union with God. They can never smell of thunderous burgeon or cloyingly pleasurable rhythm of pop-hymns. The combination of Runa Rizvi’s syrupy voice and beautiful songs for the evening will leave the audience in raptures.
