India's fastest train: Gatimaan Express, flagged off!
India's first semi-high speed train, capable of running at a speed of 160 km per hour, was flagged off on April 5th by the Railway Minister. Gatimaan Express will run between Hazrat Nizammuddin and Agra Cantonment. The state-of-the-art train will take one hour and forty minutes to complete the journey and will operate 6 days a week except on Friday. Nizamuddin-Agra Gatimaan Express, the country's first semi-high speed train, seems to have created a buzz among travelers. Passengers of Gatimaan Express will not only be ushered to their seats by train hostesses, but will also be given free access to multimedia content.
Timings:
Gatimaan Express will leave Nizamuddin railway station at 8:10 am and reach Agra Cantt. at 9:50 am. The train will depart from Agra the same evening at 5:50 pm to reach Nizamuddin at 7:30 pm.
