As expected, the decision has been finally taken to increase the price of platform ticket.
From May 1,2012 the railway platform tickets will cost Rs5 instead of of Rs3.
The Rs 2 hike in the price of platform tickets is in pursurance of the 2012-13 railway budget announcements.
