The luxury train, ‘Royal Rajasthan on Wheels’, designed to satisfy the growing demand of luxury train traveling, chugged on its journey from Safdarjung railway station in New Delhi on October 6, 2013. There are 26 passengers on board the train.
For the journey of seven nights and eight days, the train has already started on its royal journey from New Delhi and would travel through Jodhpur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh and then enter Agra for the tourists to visit Taj Mahal. Apart from Agra in Uttar Pradesh, the train would also travel through Varanasi back to Delhi.
Proving to be a perfect example of travelling extravaganza, this train offers a travel experience that attracts tourists from far and wide. With interiors furnished with details that remind one of the bygone era of splendor and magnificence, this train contains all items of luxury such as ‘spa’, ‘gym’ among others
