Horse Safari
An inseparable part of the Rajasthan history and culture, horses have been part of the royals of the Rajasthan since time immemorial. Revered in history for their strength, grace and loyalty to the masters, stories of Rajput valour and filled with instances of the indigenous horses rising to the occasion in battles and wars. When peace came, these marvellous beasts were used as modes of transportation and for leisure activities, always keeping their place in the stories and lores of the land. These beautiful animals are now a part of the unique experience that we offer for the traveller who’s looking to do more! You can choose from various authentic experiences like horse riding at a farm where these horses are kept and trained in an immaculate environment with trainers with years of experience. Bathe an Elephant
Elephants like horses have been closely relate to the royalty of the state where these gentle giants were used for traversing the difficult landscape, hauling up material to build forts and even for playing Elephant polo! You can find these elephants ferrying you to the top of Amber fort and back, but if you’d like the exclusive opportunity to interact with these magnificent beasts when they aren’t in work mode, you can opt for our Bathe an elephant programme. Here we take you to a resort on the outskirts, surrounded by farms and forests. And here you can see the elephants, who are taken care of as family, in a safe and fun environment. A Mahout or trainer will be with you all the time as you splash some water on these animals and then paint you giant canvas with skin friendly organic colours! Imagine the stories you’d have for back home!
Welcome Ambassador
There are cars. And then there is the Welcome Ambassador. Known as the ‘King of the Indian Roads’, Ambassador was a symbol of the Indian politics, royalty and wealth. The car remained in production for 57 years but with the newer, cheaper cars coming into the market, Ambassadors lost their charm and its production was stopped in 2014. But we, at ThingsToDoInIndia, weren’t ready to give up on our beloved car just yet and decided to turn the Ambassador we owned into a piece of art! Most of the steel parts were recast in brass and decorated with detailed inlay work by artisans called in specially from Moradabad, to give it a chic look. While Brocade fabric was sourced from the southern part of the country for upholstery, the best leather available went in to make the most luxurious seats.Local artisans were called from Jaipur school of art to adorn the outside of the car with traditional miniature paintings, giving the ambassador its royal look. The final cherry on top is your chauffeur who comes dressed in the traditional attire to add the local touch to your experience with this unique luxury car, equipped with the best amenities. Use it to drive around the city in style or for an exclusive pick up from the airport. We promise you an entirely unique experience of the city with this super-car!
