The entry at Amber Fort will be free for travelers and visitors on World Tourism Day i.e 27 September, 2017. While there will be no elephant ride available at The Amber Fort from 20 September up-till 30 September, 2017. Due to the on-going festivities at the 'Shila Devi Temple' at Amber Fort, ELEPHANT RIDE will be CLOSED for travelers & visitors a day before the Navratra's up-till a day after it's last day.
The booking counters for tourists and visitors during the same period, i.e 21 September to 29 September, 2017 has been set up at Singhpol as well as Tripolia Gate, while the exit point has been set at the Tripolia Gate for a hassle free movement of Visitors as-well as devotees during the Navratra's.
The Elephant ride will resume from 01 October, 2017 with five rounds per elephant while the timings will be from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. And the timing for Night Tourism from 01 October, 2017 to 31 March, 2018 will be 6:30 pm to 09:00 pm.
Night visits to Amer Fort will also be closed for tourists & visitors during the period of Navratra. The Sound & Light Show at Amer fort from 21 September up-till 29 September, 2017 will have only one show in English at 8.30 pm.
